In today’s world, policy makers, administrators, intellectuals, parents, and the media are just a few of the groups expressing decided ideas about what schools can and should accomplish. What is less clear are the strategies and processes for transforming such vision into reality. Practical strategies are the mechanisms with the most potential for implementing sound instructional design. But, they take significant amounts of time, energy, and resources to locate, adapt, and master.
Throughout our years of teaching in classrooms, serving in leadership capacities, and acquiring advanced degrees, we have accumulated and synthesized a diverse array of strategies in order to support our colleagues and our students. We would love to have opportunities to share our work with you as well as to share the burden of time and energy that you face hunting for the best resources and methods while meeting the demands of today’s school day.
